Skied South from Heartside Pass in Cumbria for a few kilometres towards Cross Fell. Plenty of snow but no base so it was quite hard work. The full tour to Cross Fell and back would have been a long day. Great to be out in the hills. Bumped into Ron Kenyon on the way out. No problems with the H.
