Carn an Fhreiceadain

I had fantastic day ski touring around the Carn an Fhreiceadain loop behind Kingussie. It was possible to skin from Pitmain Lodge on a good track to the summit of Beinn Bhreac and then across to Carn an Fhreiceadain.

I descended due south to eventually meet the track leading back to Pitmain Lodge. On the return leg it was possible to ski down the road, across the golf course and right back to the car park.

A bonus of the trip was meeting Di Gilbert and Heather Morning on the summit of Carn an Fhreiceadain. They had broken trail all the way from the road making life a lot easier for me. They were kind enough to offer me some of their mulled wine which was undoubtably the highlight of the day!
